"Righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus."
Romans 3v22-24

Doctrinal Basis

Being a member of the Cambridge InterCollegiate Christian Union, we have a doctrinal basis of beliefs. These contain the fundamental truths of God's revelation in the Bible, so that we might "all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God" (Ephesians 4v13). You can view the doctrinal basis of the CICCU here.

By presenting a fundamental basis of essential "non-negotiable" truths, it is hoped that all Christians will feel able to support each other through the College Group and unite together in evangelism, prayer and Bible study.

Questions for life

Is there a God? Does it matter? What if God was one of us? Could Jesus be who he claimed? Can we explain the resurrection? How could something that happened 2000 years ago affect us today?

Friday Lunchtime Talks are an opportunity to think about those type of questions in a relaxed environment. These run weekly, on Friday afternoons between 1.00 and 1.50pm, so finish in time for 2pm lectures. They are held in St Andrew the Great, and a free lunch is provided.

Information is available from the Reps; for the next topic, see the CICCU weekly diary.
